Meet the Team
Vice President, Shereen Shaker Mikhail
VP Shaker’s responsibilities include overseeing facilities management, campus buildings, and operations including project planning, design, and construction, campus services, faculty housing and transportation, events management, food services, security, environmental health and safety, travel and business support, medical services and sustainability.
Director, Shereen Gomaa Saafan
Shereen manages all activities and communication related to the Office of the Vice President for Management and Operations and provides consultative support to other offices within the Vice President for Management and Operations’ area. She has worked on diverse projects related to new initiatives in the area involving operations, human resources, security, campus services, transportation, and others, and ensure their successful transition to administration by relevant offices.
Senior Administrative Assistant, Mariam M. Abousayed
Mariam is responsible for overseeing, facilitating all activities, logistics, and communications with different offices at the AUC community. She is accountable for supporting the North America Office and managing a number of projects/initiatives in the Operations area. She carries out other duties including all financial and administrative work for the office, as well as, facilitate coordination with all the Vice President’s direct reports
Presidential Associate, Matthew Woollgar
Matthew Woollgar is our office’s annual associate from the Presidential Associate Program. He executes policy adjustment and project implementation across the variety of departments that the office oversees. He also streamlines efforts between Management and Operations offices and other campus departments.
