Business Support Services
The Business Support Office is shaped by AUC’s commitment to fulfill its obligations and responsibilities towards its students, faculty and staff members and various academic departments to advance learning through supporting the teaching and research process.
To inform all re-located faculty and international students with governmental regulations related to student visa, work permit, residency in Egypt and process their issuing and renewals.
The Travel Office was established to help faculty and staff members, administrators and students with their travel plans. It handles business and personal trips, in Egypt or abroad through our corporate deals with excellent hotels, and monitors policies set by the administration for these types of travel. The office also arranges meet-and-assist services through customs and immigration arranged at the airport in accordance with the guidelines governing the provisions of such services. Work Permit and Visa Residency
The Buisness Support Office provides assistance to relocated, continuing faculty members, administrators and non-Egyptian staff members in issuing work permits, residence visas and help new relocated faculty members arriving in Cairo with their families in any questions and responding to their inquiries. In addition, the unit provides yearly information update to the AUC Faculty handbook.

International Student Services
The Business Support Office handles all services related to registration and student visa procedures for all new international (non-Egyptian) students.
Upon arrival in Egypt, international students of certain nationalities need to register their arrival within 48 hours of entry to avoid late fees by submitting their original passport to the Business Support Office.

Import and Export Services
The Import and Export unit handles both new and departing relocated faculty and staff eligible for shipping allowance to import or export their stuff through AUC forwarding agents.

Mail services require a thorough knowledge of postal service regulations, rates, services, and operations, hence, mail operations are executed through highly trained staff and a timed plan to meet the needs of AUC customers.

Printing and Copying Services
The general purpose of the printing and copying services unit is to provide quality, timely, and efficient printing and copying services to the AUC community in order to best support its academic programs and administrative services.
