Strategy Management and Institutional Effectiveness comprise different functions that work together to advance AUC’s mission and promote effective decision making.
Across these specializations, we offer a variety of services and products to support AUC academic and administrative units, as well as outside constituencies, with planning, assessment, accreditation, research and data analysis needs.

Institutional Research
Our mission is to provide institutional information to a diverse audience of internal and external constituents in support of institutional planning, decision making and reporting.

Assessment
Assessment is a continuous process of gathering, evaluating, and communicating information to improve learning and institutional effectiveness.

Strategy Management
Strategy Management ensures that all units work in tandem to achieve the University’s strategic goals. Our office leads the efforts in developing the University's strategic plan and coordinates with each area to improve its processes and functions.

Business Intelligence
The Business Intelligence (BI) solution at AUC aims at providing insights and availing data to the business users through highly visual dashboards and advanced analytics features.

Institutional Surveys
The Office of Strategy Management and Institutional Effectiveness (SMIE) conducts institutional surveys such as the annual student opinion survey, the international student exit survey, as well as other surveys to assist in achieving the University’s objectives.

Business Process Improvement
The Business Process Improvement function supports AUC units in standardizing, streamlining, and optimizing the fundamental processes that directly and indirectly impact AUC’s experience, resource utilization, and institutional efficiency.
