AUC Interior Design Summer Course

Do you have a creative eye that is attentive to detail? Do you get inspired by everything around you? Are you passionate about creating artistic and trendy spaces? If so, then this is the course for you!

You will learn everything you need to know about designing residential spaces creatively. This course will take you through the process of interior designing. You will learn how to design a residential space and get introduced to basic drafting skills. You will learn how to create floor plans and elevation designs. You will learn design concepts that help you create a look and feel for the space you are designing. By the end of the course, you will have your own space design, where you will implement all the skills you learned. You will apply the design elements covered in your project by creating a color scheme and matching furniture, material, and accessories to complement the mood you selected for your space.

  • Dates: 
    • Age 12 to 16 Years: December 26 - 28, 2023 
    • Age 16 to 22 Years: January 8 - 11, 2024
  • Sessions will run daily from 9 am to 3 pm
  • AUC New Cairo campus
  • Fridays and Saturdays off
  • AUC holidays will be compensated for with extra hours
  • EGP 3,200 (price including materials needed)

Egyptian students can pay the tuition using 

Students age 12 - 16 years and 16 - 22 years. 

All the boot camp participants will receive a certificate of participation from The American University in Cairo.

The AUC bus service is available for extra fees. Details on the schedule will be shared before the program's start date.

Accommodation is offered at the University residences in case needed. 

Nesma Fadda

Nesma Fadda is an adjunct assistant professor of architecture at the Department of Architectural Engineering at the American University in Cairo. Fadda holds a PhD in architecture. She has worked in the field of interior design since 2009.

A 100% refund of the program fees will be offered in the following cases. If reported at least three weeks before the program's start date.
