The Young Architect
This bootcamp aims to develop participants' engineering logic and critical vision of their environment. It fosters their ability to observe buildings, structures, habitats and other elements of cities.
The bootcamp embarks on a group of age-appropriate activities, which vary from individual projects, where each participant can have the freedom of self-expression, to group projects that build teamwork spirit. Participants work on 3D models to explore topics such as different habitats, structural systems, landscape and urban planning; they also learn how scale, proportions and anthropometry affect the built environment.
Going through these topics increases the awareness of teenagers about our environment and the challenges facing us today; this prepares them to be the responsible future leaders we aspire to.
