Help your children accept diversity and volunteer to promote values and skills that have a real impact on society. 

Empowering children to become change in their communities early on in life is essential for developing socially responsible humans. This bootcamp promotes civic engagement and social responsibility to both university students and children. The bootcamp achieves this by training and qualifying university students to become the transmitters of what they have learned to children ages 8 to 12 years.

The theme of the bootcamp is Peace Building. Children joining this bootcamp will learn from trained AUC students topics related to self-exploration and values, diversity and acceptance, cultural dialogue, and volunteerism and leadership through artistic methods, including role-playing, games, artwork, handicraft work and many more. The bootcamp will help the children gain problem-solving skills, achieve non-violent communication skills, accept diversity and encourage volunteerism.

Duration and Location

  • Two weeks: July 7 - 18, 2024
  • Sessions will run daily from 9 am to 3 pm
  • AUC New Cairo campus
  • Fridays and Saturdays off

Fees

  • EGP 4,900 (price includes materials need)
  • The following discounts are offered:
    • 10% discount for siblings
    • 10% discount for AUC faculty and staff
    • 15% discount for AUC alumni

Students age 8 -12 years.

Certification

All the bootcamp participants will receive a certificate of participation from AUC.

Transportation 

The AUC bus service is available for extra fees. Details on the schedule will be shared before the program's start date.

Accommodation 

Accommodation is offered at the University Residences in case needed. 

About the Instructors

Experienced trainer, facilitator and technical assistance provider in the areas of a rights-based approach, conflict resolution and peace building, communication, presentation, awareness delivery, and leadership.

AUC Refund Policy

A 100% refund of the program fees will be offered in the following cases. If reported at least three weeks before the program's start date.
