These remarkable awards from donors have allowed AUC to recruit and educate outstanding and eligible students from different cities and educational backgrounds.
Abdulhadi H. Taher Endowed Scholarships
This scholarship was established in 2002 to support Egyptian and Saudi students who demonstrate financial need and have outstanding academic performance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Egyptian or Saudi (One Saudi slot for Fall 2026)
- Major: Any
- High school graduate in academic year 2025-2026 or a transfer student with no more than one year at their current university.
- Meet AUC's admission requirements.
- Demonstrate high academic achievement.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Must pass either the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6 and writing score of 6 or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum total score of 76 (4-new scale) and writing score of 20 (4.5-new scale) or the Duolingo test with a minimum score of 125.
Scholarship Coverage
- Full tuition and fees
- Monthly stipend during the fall and spring semesters
- Housing in a standard double room at the AUC student residences for students who come from governorates outside Cairo and Giza.

AUC Alumni Endowed Scholarships
This scholarship was established in 1983 to partially support Egyptian and Arab children of AUC alumni. Selection is based on the student's academic merit and financial need.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Egyptian or Arab
- Major: Any
- One of the parents should be an alumnus/a of AUC.
- High school graduate in academic year 2025-2026 or a transfer student with no more than one year at their current university.
- Meet AUC's admission requirements.
- Demonstrate high academic achievement
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Must pass either the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6 and writing score of 6 or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum total score of 76 (4-new scale) and writing score of 20 (4.5-new scale) or the Duolingo test with a minimum score of 125.

This scholarship was established in 2018 to support students with financial need and academic merit.

Established in 2025 by Egypt Education Platform to support an undergraduate non-engineering
student for 4 years, from first year through his/her graduation.

How to Apply
- Select the “interested in scholarships” box on the AUC admissions application. If you do not show interest in applying to scholarships, you will not be able to apply for any type of scholarships later including the donor funded scholarship.
- Check the Donor-Funded Scholarships box in the scholarship’s application. If you do not check the box, you will not be able to apply for the donor funded scholarships at a later stage.
- Check your inbox for an email from the admissions office with a link and instructions on how to access the application on your Banner Self-Service.

Established in 1976 to support Palestinian undergraduate students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Palestinian
- Gender: Male and female (one slot is available for a female in fall 2026)
- Major: Any
- High school graduate in academic year 2025-2026
- Meet AUC's admission requirements.
- Demonstrate high academic achievement.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular activities.
