Mohamed Hamza's responsibilities as the University Counselor include implementing AUC’s mission through maintaining a positive relationship with the Egyptian Government and developing positive initiatives for collaboration with educational institutions and solving specific problems through a collaborative approach focused on mutually beneficial outcomes.

Sunanda Holmes

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Sunanda Holmes is AUC's first general counsel and chief compliance officer. She spearheads both strategy and its implementation across our many lines of management operations and services, making use of her extensive background in international higher education institutional compliance matters in the U.S. and the Middle East.

Richard Brow

Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations

Richard Brow is responsible for the design, execution, and evaluation of University-wide programs in advancement services, development, and alumni relations. Based in Cairo, Brow leads a knowledgeable and well-rounded team in Egypt and the United States to partner with internal and external stakeholders, such as donors, alumni, foundations, and corporates, to champion AUC's mission.

Shereen Shaker

Vice President for Management and Operations

Shereen Shaker is vice president for management and operations. Her responsibilities include overseeing facilities management, campus buildings and operations including projects planning, design and construction, campus services, faculty housing and transportation, University events, food services, sustainability, security, environmental health and safety, travel and business support, and medical services.

Dina Abulfotuh

Vice President for Marketing Communication and Public Affairs

VP Dina Abulfotuh is responsible for overseeing AUC's marketing and promotional arm, while strengthening connections between the campus and our community. Working with a diverse and multi-talented team, Abulfotuh is responsible for the design and execution of the University's global positioning, and communications strategy, AUC Press and the Tahrir Cultural Center.

Amir Habib

Associate Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Amir Habib is associate vice president for finance and chief financial officer. His responsibilities include oversight of the financial resources of the University in both New Cairo and New York offices. He leads the development and implementation of finance, budget policies, service standards and procedures that effectively align resources to provide faculty, staff and students with the resources required to achieve AUC's overall strategic priorities.

Iman Megahed

Associate Vice President for Digital Transformation, Chief Strategy and Knowledge Officer

Iman Megahed is the AVP for Digital Transformation, Chief Strategy and Knowledge Officer at AUC. In her capacity as chief strategy and knowledge officer, she is responsible for institutional effectiveness functions: strategic planning, assessment, accreditation, institutional surveys, institutional research and business process improvement. She founded the business intelligence and data governance functions to support informed-based decision-making. In her capacity as AVP for digital transformation, she is responsible for laying the University's digital transformation strategy, its execution and tracking. This includes information security; University infrastructure; University technology solutions and systems; academic computing support services and operational excellence functions.

Sarah Refaat

Senior Associate Vice President for Human Resources

Sarah Refaat is the senior associate vice president for human resources. She is responsible for planning, developing and implementing human resources initiatives, strategies and programs that support AUC's mission for service excellence and employee engagement. She works closely with the University’s senior leaders to develop and implement best practices in human resources policies and procedures, long-term talent management development, staff relations, compensation and benefits.

Sameh Abdel Fadil

Chief Audit Executive

CAE Sameh Abdel Fadil is responsible for planning and directing a range of financial, operational, compliance, and information technology audits to provide University leaders with important objective analyses and recommendations concerning University activities. His position operates with significant independence and provides objective assurance and advisory services to add value and improve AUC operations.
