University Counselor
Hala El Said plays a key role in advancing our relationships with national universities, the Supreme Council of Universities and the Egyptian Government. El Said is a distinguished economist, public servant and academic leader.
Sunanda Holmes
Vice President and General Counsel
Sunanda Holmes oversees all the University’s legal affairs and compliance matters and advises the President, Board of Trustees, administrators, and faculty on all matters having legal implications for the University in Egypt, the United States, and other relevant jurisdictions. The Vice President and General Counsel reports to the President of the University, acts as his or her advisor in all matters of a legal nature and compliance issues, and represents the University in all legal and compliance matters.
Farah Kashlan
Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations
Farah Kashlan is responsible for the design, execution and evaluation of University-wide strategies related to advancement, development, fundraising and alumni engagement. She works closely with academic and administrative leaders to strengthen AUC’s culture of philanthropy, deepen relationships with stakeholders and expand the University’s global donor and alumni networks. She also advises the president and the Board of Trustees in support of AUC’s mission and long-term priorities.
Dina Abulfotuh
Vice President for Marketing Communication and Public Affairs
Dina Abulfotuh is responsible for overseeing AUC's marketing and promotional arm, while strengthening connections between the campus and our community. Working with a diverse and multi-talented team, Abulfotuh is responsible for the design and execution of the University's global positioning, and communications strategy, AUC Press and the Tahrir Cultural Center.
Amir Habib
Associate Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Amir Habib is responsible for overseeing the financial resources of the University in both New Cairo and New York offices. He leads the development and implementation of finance, budget policies, service standards and procedures that effectively align resources to provide faculty, staff and students with the resources required to achieve AUC's overall strategic priorities.
Iman Megahed
Associate Vice President for Digital Transformation, Chief Strategy and Knowledge Officer
Iman Megahed is responsible for institutional effectiveness functions: strategic planning, assessment, accreditation, institutional surveys, institutional research and business process improvement. She founded the business intelligence and data governance functions to support informed-based decision-making. In her capacity as AVP for digital transformation, she is responsible for laying the University's digital transformation strategy, its execution and tracking. This includes information security, University infrastructure, University technology solutions and systems, academic computing support services and operational excellence functions.
Sarah Refaat
Senior Associate Vice President for Human Resources
Sarah Refaat is responsible for planning, developing and implementing human resources initiatives, strategies and programs that support AUC's mission for service excellence and employee engagement. She works closely with the University’s senior leaders to develop and implement best practices in human resources policies and procedures, long-term talent management development, staff relations, compensation and benefits.
Sameh Abdel Fadil
Chief Audit Executive
Sameh Abdel Fadil is responsible for planning and directing a range of financial, operational, compliance, and information technology audits to provide University leaders with important objective analyses and recommendations concerning University activities. His position operates with significant independence and provides objective assurance and advisory services to add value and improve AUC operations.
