Mr. Richard A. Bartlett is a three-time chair of the AUC Board of Trustees (2010, 2013 and 2018) and the first chair emeritus at AUC (2021). He is currently the managing director of Resources Holdings, Ltd., a private equity firm in New York City. Before joining that firm in 1984, he served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun and, before that, as a law clerk on the U.S. Circuit Court for the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a trustee of Black Rock Forest and a member of the leadership council of the Telluride Foundation. He serves on the boards of several private companies, including chairman of Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation. Bartlett received a BA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and a JD from Yale Law School.
