Choose the Right Gift

You may choose to make an outright gift or pledge at any time. Pledges enable a donor to plan a personal giving program that is both convenient and tax-wise. A pledge may enable some donors to consider a more significant gift than would have been otherwise possible. Should you have any questions regarding the ways to give, contact the Office of Advancement Services by email.

AUC is fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law in the United States, Canada, and Egypt. AUC is a 501(c) (3) American tax-exempt nonprofit organization. IRS ID number: 13-5647700

If the security is still in the donor’s name at the time the gift is made, a letter of authorization relinquishing ownership of the security is required.

In every case, the donor should please provide the AUC Office of Advancement Services with the following information: donor name, impending transfer, type of stock, number of shares and designation. 

AUC faculty and staff members may choose to support AUC via payroll deduction, with fixed amounts deducted automatically every month over a set period of time. Automatic deduction plans can be updated and renewed by filling out this form and sending it to Farida Ahmed at the AUC’s Office of Advancement Services.

For your reference, the University’s fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30.
