Problem-based Learning at AUC

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a learner-centered teaching practice, where students collaboratively engage in solving complex and challenging problems. The motivation to solve a problem drives their motivation to find and apply disciplinary knowledge. The problem becomes a vehicle for stimulating the cognitive process and developing problem-solving skills.

 

CLT offers support to faculty members interested in incorporating PBL in their classroom. This high impact practice encourages student engagement and inquiry and prepares students to solve real-world problems and challenges.
