Scholarship Opportunities for Spring 2023


Scholarships opportunities only available for new and current students enrolled in spring 2023 semester.

Prospective Students

  • A scholarship to be awarded to worthy scholars of Armenian origin in need of financial assistance to enable them to pursue studies leading to undergraduate degrees.

  • This is an annual award provided to a select number of students who participate in sports that are listed in the Egyptian Championship Tournament and Olympic Games, with a high level of distinction in their final secondary school year. Students who are awarded this scholarship may receive a 15 percent reduction in their tuition with a maximum of 15 credit hours per semester. Any additional registered courses will not be covered by scholarship.

  • The scholarship offers full support to refugee students who wish to study at AUC.

  • AUC along with other individuals and corporations has launched the Public-School Scholarship Fund (PSSF) to expand opportunities to Egyptian students who graduated from public schools, with an outstanding academic record, and who demonstrate financial need.

  • Established in 2016 to support tuition for one undergraduate student from a public school in Matareya, Khosos or Shark Shubra El Kheima (Mostorod).

  • Orascom Construction -AUC offers undergraduate students up to five-year scholarships to public or private high school graduates from eight governorates in Upper Egypt: Assiut, Aswan, Bani Suef, Fayoum, Luxor, Minya, Qena, and Sohag to start in the academic year 2022-2023.

  • This is an annual scholarship provided to a select number of students with distinguished achievements in any cultural activity. Students awarded this scholarship receive a partial reduction in their tuition for a maximum of 15 credit hours per semester.

How to Apply for Prospective Students

  • Candidates must be aware of all vacant scholarships focusing on the criteria of each scholarship to know the suitable opportunities in the assigned semester.
  • Candidates will be required to fill and submit only one interest form where they can choose up to five scholarships of interest. Note that the interest form is submitted only once and will not be edited.
  • Candidates will receive an email to start the application process, by filling out an admission form in case they have not applied for admission till the current date. 
  • After submitting an AUC admission application, candidates are expected to receive an email from the admissions office with an AUC student ID number. 
  • Candidates will use this ID number to create an account on Self-Service Banner (SSB) and to access the scholarship application.   
  • Candidates must fill all the sections in the scholarship application and upload the required documents, then press "submit."
  • Candidates who open the application after submission to edit or add any information must make sure to click the “submit” button again so that the application status would be “complete."
  • The deadline to submit the scholarship application for the spring 2023 semester is November 30, 2022.  
  • Required documents: 
  • Two recommendation letters.
  • Proof of extracurricular activities. 
  • For the athletic scholarship only; school competitions are not accepted. Official letter issued by the game federation, approved and stamped by the concerned sports union, the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, and the Olympic committee.

Current Students

  • Established in 2010 to provide partial scholarships to two academically outstanding Egyptian students majoring in petroleum and energy engineering. Selection is based on financial needs and academic merit.

  • To partially support the tuition and fees of two students (preferably female) in the School of Business, concentration in finance. The scholarship will be granted to students who demonstrate outstanding academic records and financial needs.

How to apply for Current Students

  • Candidates are required to select the relevant academic year. They must ensure selecting the scholarship application for current students.  
  • Candidates must fill all the sections in the scholarship application, select the scholarship funds and upload the required documents, then press "submit."
  • Candidates who open the application after submission to edit or add any information must make sure to click the “submit” button again so that the application status would be “complete."
  • Required documents:
