Donor-Funded Scholarships for Prospective Students - Spring 2026

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Egyptian or Arab
• One of the parents should be an alumnus/a of AUC
• High school graduate in academic year 2024-2025 or a transfer student with no more than one year at their current university
• Meet AUC's admission requirements
• Demonstrate high academic achievement
• Demonstrate financial need
• Must pass either the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6 and writing score of 6 or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum total score of 76 and writing score of 20 or the Duolingo test with a minimum score of 125

Scholarship Coverage

• Partial tuition and fees

How to Apply?

1. Select the “interested in scholarships” box on the AUC admissions application. If you do not show interest in applying to scholarships, you will not be able to apply for any type of scholarships later including the donor funded scholarship.
2. Check the Donor- Funded Scholarship box in the scholarships application. If you do not check the box, you will not be able to apply for the donor funded scholarships at a later stage.
3. Check your inbox for an email from the admissions office with a link and instructions on how to access the application on your Banner Self Service.

• Be a thanweya smma public school graduate in AY 2024-2025.
• Meet AUC's admission requirements
• Demonstrate high academic achievement
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Must pass either the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6 and writing score of 6 or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum total score of 76 and writing score of 20 or the Duolingo test with a minimum score of 125

• Monthly stipend

• Demonstrate high academic achievement.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Must pass either the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6 and writing score of 6 or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum total score of 76 and writing score of 20 or the Duolingo test with a minimum score of 125.

Scholarship Coverage

• Full tuition and fees
• Housing in a standard double room at the AUC student residences
• Monthly stipend
• AUC bus subscription fees
• Book allowance

• Must pass either the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6 and writing score of 6 or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum total score of 76 and writing score of 20 or the Duolingo test with a minimum score of 125.

Scholarship coverage

• Full tuition and fees
• Housing in a standard double room at the AUC student residences
• Monthly stipend during the fall and spring semesters
