Choosing a career is a challenge for most high-school students; explore the options that best match your skills and discover the latest job trends.

Learn about a variety of career options under the guidance of career experts with years of experience in career advising, hands-on learning, and employer relations. Discover what the job trends are in today’s competitive market, learn what qualities you already possess, and find out what skills you need to establish your brand and achieve your career ambitions. This boot camp takes an experiential learning approach, where you will participate in job shadowing to interact with professionals firsthand. You will learn how to conduct informational interviews and search for practical learning opportunities online and through your networks.

At the end of the boot camp, you will present your personalized career story and an action plan of what you will do next to pursue your identified career. Start your career exploration adventure this summer and gain a clear view of your interests that will help you set up the perfect career plan for you. Duration and Location

  • Two weeks: July 13 - 17, 2025

  • Sessions will run daily from 9 am to 3 pm

  • AUC New Cairo campus

  • AUC holidays will be compensated for with extra hours

Fees

  • EGP 4,000 (price includes materials needed)
  • The following discounts are offered:
    • 10% discount for siblings
    • 10% discount for AUC faculty and staff
    • 15% discount for AUC alumni  

Who can apply?

Students age 15 - 17 years.

Certification

All the bootcamp participants will receive a certificate of participation from AUC.

Transportation 

The AUC bus service is available for extra fees.

Accommodation is offered at the University Residences in case needed. 

About the Instructors

Mary Henry

Mary Henry is the experiential learning manager at AUC’s Career Center. Henry has been working at the AUC Career Center since 2008 where she has successfully built and sustained long term relationships with students, employers, and faculty. Henry is an accredited strengths profile practitioner since 2023. Currently, Henry has just completed the 120 hour National Career Development Association (NCDA) Facilitating Career Development Training and is now preparing to become a Certified Career Service Provider (CCSP) offered by the NCDA to further expand her career skills. Driven by her passion for helping, listening, and encouraging others, Henry completed her master’s in counseling from AUC in 2012.

Sandy Fakhry

Sandy Fakhry is currently the on-campus recruitment officer at AUC’s Career Center, bringing over 14 years of experience in HR and recruitment. Her work is driven by a deep passion for helping people find meaningful career opportunities. Before joining AUC in 2019, she served as a senior talent acquisition specialist at a leading pharmaceutical company and began her career at Schneider Electric Egypt. She has also worked in recruitment agencies, hiring professionals across a wide range of industries and career levels. Fakhry is especially passionate about guiding students as they explore their interests and prepare for their futures, connecting them with employers and empowering them to step confidently into the job market.

AUC Refund Policy

A 100% refund of the program fees will be offered in the following cases. If reported at least three weeks before the program's start date.
