AUC Recognizes Staff for Dedication, Long Years of Service

Each year, AUC’s Office of Human Resources recognizes staff members who have dedicated long years of service to the University. This year, each area held its own recognition event to celebrate staff members who have worked at AUC for 15, 20, 25, 30 or 35 years.

AUC Takes Initiative to Transfer Antiquities Collection to Egyptian Government

AUC has recently taken the initiative to transfer nearly 5,000 Islamic, Coptic, Pharaonic, Greek and Roman antiquities to the protection of the Egyptian government. AUC has been in legal possession of these antiquities since the 1960s, ensuring their preservation.

Student Clubs, Organizations Awarded for Distinguished Contributions

In an annual event held to celebrate the outstanding achievements of participants in clubs and organizations on campus, AUC students received 20 awards ranging from Outstanding Academic Association and Best Collaboration to other honorary awards.

Undergraduate Commencement: Students Celebrate Milestone, Al Ghurair Receives Honorary Degree

Yesterday’s undergraduate commencement ceremony saw the graduation of a total of 634 students, of whom 108 were distinguished as cum laude, 114 as magna cum laude, and 130 as summa cum laude.

Seven Students with Disabilities Graduate, Share Inspiring Stories of Success

This past weekend, AUC saw off another outstanding graduating class. Among this year’s class of graduates are seven remarkable individuals who have had to overcome challenges due to various physical, psychological or learning disabilities.

The ECDC program has boasted an employment rate of 85% among beneficiaries over the project’s lifespan. In total, the three universities now house 14 certified Career Development Facilitators as part of the ECDC program.
