AUC's Additive Manufacturing Centennial Lab (AMCL) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the first academic host sites in Egypt for the MIT International Science and Technology Init

The Class of 2026 hosts many powerhouse students, including artist and UNICEF champion Lina Kamel, graduating with a degree in psychology and a minor in theatre.

Under the shade of the AUC Tahrir Square gardens, students from Sudan, Egypt, the United Kingdom and beyond shared proverbs in their native languages.

For the first time in Egypt, AUC will host a hub for the 2026 Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab (HSIL) Hackathon, exploring the use of AI in healthcare.  

AUC is home to students from around the world, many of whom celebrate Ramadan with traditions different from what is typical in Egypt.
