About the Office

The Office of Institutional Advancement works to strengthen the relationships, resources and engagement that support AUC's mission. By connecting donors, alumni, corporations, foundations and friends of the University with meaningful opportunities to contribute, the office helps secure the support needed to advance AUC's academic, research and community priorities. The office also serves as a steward of these relationships, ensuring that gifts are managed responsibly, donors are recognized and informed of their impact, and alumni remain connected to the University throughout their lives and careers.

The office includes five specialized areas:

Across its teams, the office builds partnerships that generate support, sustains relationships through careful stewardship and activates a global alumni community. Behind this work, data, research and communications provide the structure and clarity needed to guide strategy and demonstrate impact.

Together, these efforts strengthen the University’s capacity to grow, respond to emerging needs and extend its reach in Egypt and beyond.

What We Do

The office supports the AUC community through the following functions:

Philanthropic Giving
Development teams secure major, leadership and annual gifts, building partnerships with individuals, corporations and foundations to advance AUC’s priorities.
 

Donor Relations 
Donor relations teams lead donor recognition and engagement, including tailored plans for major donors, events and programs, and oversight of named spaces.
 

Gift Administration and Stewardship
Gift administration and stewardship teams manage gift processing, agreements and acknowledgments, while providing clear reporting on how funds are used and the impact they make.
 

Alumni Relations and Engagement
Alumni engagement teams design and deliver programs, events and global initiatives that strengthen lifelong connections to AUC and encourage active involvement.
 

Alumni Services
Alumni services teams manage benefits, programs and resources, supporting alumni through career development, networking and continued access to the University.
 

Advancement Services
Advancement services teams lead data strategy, prospect research and systems management, strengthening fundraising through analysis, tracking and reporting.
 

Communications
Advancement communications teams produce proposals, reports and multi-platform content that articulate priorities, demonstrate impact and inspire philanthropic support.
