Swiss Fellowship for Inclusive Development (SFID)
The Swiss Fellowship for Inclusive Development (SFID) is a full fellowship available to new graduate students with excellent academic performance records who wish to pursue a graduate diploma in either the public administration or public policy graduate programs. Fellows who complete the diploma program and wish to continue their studies toward the MPA or MPP graduate degrees may do so; however, no additional fellowship support will be provided.
Eligibility
- Egyptian nationals only
- For new graduate degree-seeking students, satisfying AUC’s full graduate admissions requirements
- For continuing students, to retain the fellowship, the recipient must maintain a GPA of 3.2
Duration
This fellowship is awarded for the duration of two semesters, pending a review at the end of the first semester for satisfactory academic performance.
Award
The fellowship covers:
- Tuition fee coverage for a maximum of nine credits per semester
- Student services and activities fees
- Medical service and health insurance fees
Responsibilities of Fellows
Enroll as a full-time student in the public policy or public administration graduate diploma program
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2
Fulfill at least 12 working hours per week with the Public Policy HUB
Respond to any reporting requests received from AUC by the deadline communicated. This may include a request for photos or academic progress information to be used for reporting purposes; attendance of fellowship events, including any meetings/events as requested by the relevant university entities
