The Bhuiyan Family Fellowship
The Bhuiyan Family Fellowship is open to new and continuing Egyptian graduate students with an exceptional academic record who wish to pursue a graduate degree in the Master of Public Administration, Master of Public Policy, or Master of Global Affairs graduate programs.
Eligibility
- Egyptian nationals only
- For new graduate degree-seeking students admitted to the MPA, MPP, or MGA graduate programs at AUC satisfying AUC graduate admissions requirements.
- For continuing students, to retain the fellowship, the recipient must maintain a GPA of 3.2.
- Financial need.
Duration
One semester. Renewal of the fellowship is neither automatic nor guaranteed. The student needs to apply for this fellowship every semester.
Award Coverage
The fellowship covers:
- Partial tuition fees coverage
- Student services and activities fees
- Health insurance fees
Responsibilities of Fellows
- Fellows are assigned a maximum of 12 hours per week of related academic work with faculty members.
- A teaching assistantship mandatory training must be completed per University requirements if the fellow is involved in teaching assistantship duties. For details and more information about teaching assistantships, click here.
- By accepting this externally funded fellowship, the fellowship recipient agrees to respond to any reporting requests received from AUC by the deadlines communicated to the awarded fellow. This may include requests for photos or academic progress information to be used for reporting purposes or attendance at fellowship events, including any meetings or events with donors, as requested by the relevant university entities.
