The units associated with the Operations side of F&O are Faculty Housing, Transportation and Parking, and Food Service.

Faculty Housing has three sub-groups. They are Accommodations, Maintenance and the Zamalek Building operation. Accommodations cleans and furnishes faculty housing units prior to occupancy; they verify apartment inventories; and they work with the occupant when there are issues of curtains, a change in furnishings, or upholstery. Maintenance provides the regular and preventive maintenance to housing units; and responds to customer service needs. The Zamalek Building unit operates and maintains the apartments and student housing through an outsource contract.

Transportation and Parking operates the Car Pool, Parking Services, and the Transportation operation. The Car Pool operates and maintains a fleet of assigned and unassigned vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, and buses in support of the university’s mission. Parking Services issues parking permits, and patrols the parking lots on the AUC New Cairo. The Transportation vendor, Family Corporation, operates and maintains a fleet of buses, and vans to support the shuttle and special trip transportation needs of the university.

Food Services on the AUC New Cairo are provided by Delicious Inc. They have a catering office in the F&O Service Center.
