March 28, The Theatre program presented the inaugural educational outreach play to schools in New Cairo and Nasr City. In collaboration with the Egyptology program this tour presented Ancient Games, an original play about the death and resurrection myth of Osiris and Isis.

AUC student and professional squash player ranking third worldwide, Hania El Hammamy, an integrated marketing communication major, was crowned champion of the 2022 Allam British Open Squash Championships on Sunday.
The 2020 AUC Press book, Cairo Since 1900: An Architectural Guide, by Mohamed Elshahed was one of six books shortlisted for the Peter Mackenzie Smith Book Prize at the British Egyptian Society's award ceremony in London.
AUC was ranked among the top universities in the Broadcast Education Association's school rankings based on student achievements. The University was ranked first for Top Winning Documentary Programs, fourth for Top Winning Audio Programs, 15th for Top Winning Overall Programs and 29th for Top Winning News Programs.
People of AUC
As a refugee living in Egypt for around eight years and working many different jobs, I feel that my experience, knowledge, and skills will allow me to succeed in this major, and maybe someday, I will be able to offer something that can help migrants and refugees around the world.
