The following are the undergraduate tuition rates per semester for the academic year 2018 - 2019 for new and current students:

  • For the academic year 2018 - 2019, the tuition is in Egyptian pounds for Egyptian students, and in U.S. dollars for international students.
  • The tuition rate is based on a flat rate of EGP 10,290 for Egyptian students and $1,213 for international students per credit hour.
  • For ELI, Egyptian students will pay EGP 143,226 whereas non-Egyptian students will pay $14,556.
  • Tuition and fees for international students must be paid in U.S. dollars.
  • Tuition rates are subject to change each semester.
  • Tuition and fees are collected each semester. No student with an outstanding bill (including charges for breakage or library fines) will be admitted to any examination, given any certificate or report of academic standing, or be permitted to register for a subsequent semester.

 

The following are the graduate tuition rates per semester for the academic year 2018 - 2019 for new and current students:

  • For the academic year 2018 - 2019, tuition is in Egyptian pounds for Egyptian students, and in U.S. dollars for international students.
  • The tuition rate is based on a flat rate for the following category of graduate students:
  1. Egyptian students enrolled in all majors: The flat rate is EGP 9,225 per credit hour
  2. Egyptian students enrolled in MBA and LLM: The flat rate is EGP 10,775 per credit hour
  3. International students: The flat rate is $1,213.
  • For ELI, Egyptian students enrolled in all majors, MBA and LLM will pay EGP 49,816 whereas non-Egyptian students will pay $6,550
  • Tuition and fees for international students must be paid in U.S. dollars.
  • Tuition rates are subject to change each semester.
  • Tuition and fees are collected each semester. No student with an outstanding bill (including charges for breakage or library fines) will be admitted to any examination, given any certificate or report of academic standing, or be permitted to register for a subsequent semester.

 

The following are the non-degree tuition rates per semester for the academic year 2018 - 2019:

  • The tuition rate is based on a flat rate of EGP 10,290 for Egyptian students and $1,213 for international students per credit hour.
  • Tuition and fees for international students must be paid in U.S. dollars.
  • Tuition rates are subject to change each semester.

Tuition and fees are collected each semester. No student with an outstanding bill (including charges for breakage or library fines) will be admitted to any examination, given any certificate or report of academic standing, or be permitted to register for a subsequent semester.

 

All payments must be made within the set deadlines.

  • Non-Egyptian students are required to pay all their tuition fees in U.S. dollars.
  • Egyptian students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and non-degree academic programs, except for the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program, are required to pay their tuition in Egyptian pounds. All EMBA students must pay in U.S. dollars.

 

Deferred payment installments:

When a degree-seeking student (undergraduate/graduate) is unable to pay the entire tuition amount at the time of registration, the student may apply for a deferred payment plan of two or three installments.

For New Students:

New students should apply at the Student Service Center.

No deferred payment in the winter semester.

Fall 2018 (newly admitted in Fall 2018)

For Current Students:

Current students should submit an online deferred payment request through Banner Self Service.

Payment may be requested in two or three installments.

How to apply for Deferred Payment?

Students can submit online deferred payment request as follows:

  1. Visit your Banner Self Service Account by clicking here.
  2. Log in with your AUC email username and password.
  3. Click on Student, then Student Account, and then Apply for Deferred Payment.
  4. Choose the Financial year 2017-2018, and press the “Continue” button.
  5. Choose Deferred Payment Application, and press the “Continue” button.
  6. Check for Application submission deadline then press the “Continue” button.
  7. Click on “Click to apply for deferred payment” and then "Deferred payment". Then check the "Apply for this Award" checkbox, and then press "Save" and continue.
  8. Check for options available (either two or three installments).
  9. Check “Mark this section complete” checkbox then press the “Continue” button.
  10. Read the deferred payment agreement carefully. If you agreed to it check “Mark this section complete” checkbox then press the “Continue” button.
  11. Press the “Submit” button.
  12. PDF form of the submitted application is available by pressing “Generate PDF Application."

   

  • Deferred payment will be assigned automatically on your account within one business day after submitting the deferred payment application.

Important Notes:

  • The balance must be paid by November 19 for the fall semester, April 4 for the spring semester, and July 11 for the summer semester.
  • Fall and Spring tuition can be paid in two or three installments.
  • No deferred payment in the winter semester.
  • Summer tuition can only be paid in two installments.
  • It is highly recommended to finalize course loads, scholarships and financial aid before applying for a deferred payment.

 

Deferred Payment Calculation and Eligibility:

  • Only degree-seeking students are eligible for deferred payment (non-degree students are not eligible).
  • Housing fees or any other types of fines will be added to the first installment.
  • The installment plan is available for current term tuition and fees ONLY.
  • Balance carried forward will affect your first installment.
  • In case a student has a credit balance, he/she must pass by the Students Accounts Office and ask for transferring it to the subsequent semester.

Please note that students who fail to submit the online application by the dates stated above will have to pay the full tuition and fees.

Non-Egyptian students who meet the requirements of admission for Egyptian students, and wish to pay the Egyptian student tuition amount must submit originals of the following documents.

Egyptian Nationality
  • A birth certificate
  • If Egyptian nationality was acquired after birth, official evidence must submit to the Office of Admissions
Non-Egyptian permanent residents
  • A certificate from passport and residence department at the Ministry of Interior (El-Mogamaa) declaring that the student has had a permanent and continuous residence in Egypt for more than 10 consecutive years
  • Proof showing that the entire family income is in Egyptian pounds (for example an original of a commercial register form); this proof should be notarized
  • A declaration from the father or guardian that the entire family income is in Egyptian pounds
Non-Egyptian children of Egyptian divorced or widowed mothers      

 Widowed mothers:

  • Birth certificate of student
  • Death certificate of father
  • Evidence of permanent residence of the student with mother in Egypt

 Divorced mothers:

  • Birth certificate of student
  • Divorce certificate
  • A declaration from the mother stating that she is not remarried to the student’s father after the divorce
  • Evidence of permanent residence of the student with the mother in Egypt
