Dear AUC Community,

Many of you may have heard media reports in the past couple of weeks about the targeting of regional American universities in retaliation for strikes against universities in Iran. Earlier today, US embassies across the region, including the embassy in Cairo, alerted Americans to these threats and advised caution. 

The regional war is undoubtedly taking a toll on many members of our community, especially those with family and friends in the region. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will inform the community if we think more precautionary action is needed. 

In the meantime, please continue to monitor the news and notices from your embassy if you are a citizen of another country.
