I am writing to announce AUC’s mandatory anti-sexual harassment training, now available online. This training is part of our University-wide initiative to ensure a safe campus and an environment free from all forms of harassment and discrimination that fully embodies our shared values of respect, diversity and equity.  The training is fully online and should take you about two hours to complete and will provide an overview of AUC’s Anti-Harassment and Non-Discrimination policy and describe your role as an official with authority, responsible for reporting any incidents of harassment or discrimination you may witness, and much more. Complete this mandatory training by May 1, 2021.

The training may be accessed at any time at your convenience and may be completed over multiple days. To access the training, click here. You will be asked to log in using your AUC username and password (same as your email). Once you are logged in, open the “AHEP_004” under “My Courses”. For your convenience, check this navigation video. If you face any technical issues while accessing the link, open an IT support ticket for assistance.

We are proud to be the first University in Egypt to introduce this mandatory anti-sexual harassment training in our community. The Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) will oversee its implementation and make further enhancements/adjustments as needed in the future. We will also provide regular status reports on its completion for the entire AUC community. If you have any comments or suggestions on the training, send them to the OIE at equity@aucegypt.edu.

As a reminder, AUCSpeakUp is a University-wide initiative to reinforce AUC’s legacy of equity, inclusiveness and a safe campus. To learn more about this initiative, visit www.aucegypt.edu/speakup
