Appointment of the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations
February 1, 2026
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Farah Kashlan as Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations.
Kashlan brings more than 15 years of experience in advancement leadership, strategic fundraising, and stakeholder engagement. She has a record of building high-performing teams, developing data-driven outreach strategies, and securing significant philanthropic support.
She joins AUC from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she served for the past twelve years as Director of Development for the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering and as a senior advisor to the Dean. Earlier in her career, she held advancement and development roles at Agnes Scott College. She also worked in business development and strategic analysis in the technology, communications and consulting sectors.
At AUC, Kashlan will oversee the design, execution, and evaluation of university-wide strategies related to advancement, development, fundraising, and alumni engagement. She will work closely with academic and administrative leaders to strengthen AUC’s culture of philanthropy, deepen relationships with stakeholders, and expand the University’s global donor and alumni networks. She will also advise the President and the Board of Trustees in support of AUC’s mission and long-term priorities.
I would also like to thank Dina Abulfotuh, VP for Marketing Communication and Public Affairs for her dedicated service as interim VP for Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations during the transitional period.
Please join me in welcoming Kashlan to AUC and wishing her success in her new role.
Sincerely,
Ahmad Dallal
President
