Dear AUC Community,

I am very pleased to announce that Ambassador Aly Erfan has graciously accepted my invitation to serve as the interim dean of the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP).

As we are finalizing the search process for the next permanent Dean of GAPP, I want to express my deepest appreciation to Ambassador Erfan. We are incredibly fortunate that he is willing to step in and guide the school during this crucial transitional period. His vast diplomatic experience, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the university will ensure that GAPP continues to operate with stability, vision and excellence while we conclude our search.

I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Noha El-Mikawy for her dedication and service to AUC and to GAPP during her tenure as dean.
