Mervat Abou Oaf '88, '02 was honored as a media scholar by India's Chandigarh University.

When Al Ghurair STEM Scholar Salma Abou Elhassan '22 first came to AUC from Dakahlia governorate, she aspired to find therapies for patients with "hopeless" cases. Today, she is the recipient of the Exemplary Student award for AUC biology majors and is on the road to realizing her dream.

Two petroleum engineering students, Youssef Helmy and Maryam Ali, won second and third place, respectively, in the Society of Petroleum Engineers Middle East and North Africa Student Paper Contest.

When I saw the job, I got excited. I really liked AUC and thought I could take the experience I had in project planning, communication, governance and administration –– and make a difference.
