GTX – Generative Type Experiments investigates coding as a tool for constructing form languages. Letters, words, and layouts are not designed as fixed compositions but emerge from systems, rules, and behaviors.
The works stem from the Creative Coding course within the Interactive Media Design minor at AUC. Students were challenged to author distinct visual identities for fictional events by programming typographic systems instead of responding to a prescribed brief.
Integrating algorithmic design, interaction, and sound, the exhibition presents typography as dynamic, performative, and evolving—expanding the agency of graphic designers beyond static form.
AUC is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
