Students who intend to subscribe for the bus service (including scholarship/fellowship students) must complete banner subscription before "Late payment deadline with extra charges" date. For the exact date in each semester, check the AUC Academic Calendar. Students who miss the subscription deadline would have to pay a ticket per ride. Ticket price is EGP45.

Payments are accepted through the regular tuition payment methods and deadlines. For payment related inquiries, please contact the student accounting office. 

To avoid being charged a bus ticket (EGP45 per ride), you should subscribe for the bus service on your banner account and activate your ID before the deadline (as explained above). To have your bus pass ready and activated, please apply the following:

Returning Students New Students    
  • Subscribe for the bus service on your banner account. Make sure to choose the duration (full-year/semester) and area (A, B, C, or D) so that your account gets charged with the right amount
  • Upon subscription, your banner account will be charged with the relevant amount to your chosen duration and area
  • Proceed to the bus terminal to register your bus area and activate your ID
  • Pay for the bus service at the Student Services Center. Make sure that you pay the relevant amount to your residence area (A, B, C, or D) and duration (full year/semester) 
  • Upon payment, your banner account will show the exact amount that you have paid
  • Proceed to the bus terminal to register your bus area and activate your ID
  • Scholarship/fellowship students must subscribe for the bus service on their banner accounts and activate their IDs within the set deadline each semester, whether they are new or returning students
  • Staff dependents who pay for the bus fees through charging the parent account MUST NOT subscribe for the bus service on their student banner account. Instead, they should fill in the bus service form (obtained from the bus service activation office), submit it at the HR office, then proceed to the bus terminal to activate their IDs
  • Bus pass activation must be done by all subscribers (including scholarship/fellowship students) to avoid being charged a ticket. Failing to activate the ID for the bus pass would charge you a ticket price every time you swipe your ID on the bus terminal turnstiles
