Venues
Thank you for your interest in using one of our venues for your event/function. The Tahrir Cultural Center is housed in the AUC Tahrir Square campus, a historical landmark and cultural oasis in the heart of Cairo. Over the past few years, TCC has been a hub for art and culture events following its mission to provide a strong public arts program to Cairo’s community. By holding your event at TCC, your contribution towards the operating costs allows us to continue to hold free events such as heritage performances, film festivals, lectures, and other important cultural activities which are open to everyone.
Halls

Ewart Memorial Hall
Construction of Ewart Memorial Hall began in 1927 and was completed in March 1928.


Oriental Hall
The School of Oriental Studies and Oriental Hall were added to the palace in 1932.
Galleries

Margo Veillon Gallery
In 2009, The American University in Cairo inaugurated the Margo Veillon Gallery of Modern Egyptian Art in honor of the life of the renowned artist.

Legacy Gallery
Various exhibitions can be held at the Legacy Gallery, one of many galleries at the Tahrir Cultural Center.

Future Gallery
The Future Gallery is one of five galleries at the Tahrir Cultural Center's palace galleries.

Ewart Gallery
The Ewart Gallery is one of many galleries located at the Tahrir Cultural Center.

Falaki Gallery
The Falaki Gallery is one of the many galleries located at the Tahrir Cultural Center where various exhibitions are held.
Open Air Venues

Fountain Area
The Fountain Area includes an Arabic-style fountain constructed in honor of Molly and Tom Bartlett, AUC president 1963 - 1969.

Main Garden
The main garden is one of the top venues at Tahrir Cultural Center for major outdoor events.
Meeting and Conference Rooms

Armenian Room
The Armenian Room was remodeled with funds raised by the Armenian community in Egypt and reflects Armenian architectural design.

Harmon Room - Hill House
The Hill House building was the next addition to the University buildings after Ewart Memorial Hall and Oriental Hall is Hill house.

Hill House - Room 602
The Hill House building was the next addition to the University buildings after Ewart Memorial Hall and Oriental Hall is Hill house.

Howard Room
The Howard Room is a traditional-style meeting room located at the Tahrir Cultural Center.

Marriott Room
The Marriott Room is one of the various venues at the Tahrir Cultural Center which can be used as a meeting room.
