AUC Awards Three Faculty Members the Spring 2015 Faculty Merit Awards

The American University in Cairo (AUC) awarded three of its faculty members the Spring 2015 faculty merit awards, in honor of their efforts to enrich the student experience and to their service to the AUC community.

Sherif Sedky, provost of The American University in Cairo (AUC) and Nageh Allam, associate professor of physics at AUC, have received the 2014 Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers. The award is given out each year to academics in six categories of scientific research.

AUC Welcomes Students for 2015 Fall Semester

The American University in Cairo (AUC) welcomes today nearly 941 new undergraduate students and 230 graduate students for the 2015 Fall semester. Admissions rates continued to rise steadily and this year saw a 6 percent increase over last year.
