Graduation

• If you expect to complete your program requirements during Fall 2025, You are urged to complete and submit the graduation application starting April 6 to May 8, 2025.

Students must apply for graduation. Academic degrees are not granted automatically. 

Important Note: Failure to submit a timely graduation application will postpone your graduation to the following commencement (subject to eligibility).

Undergraduate Students

• If you do not attend the rehearsal, your diploma will be removed, and your name will not be called out during the event.
• If you decide not to attend the distribution of diplomas, send an email to [email protected].
• Graduating students are entitled to free documents consisting of two graduation certificates, one written in Arabic and one in English, to be collected during the ceremony.

Graduation Honors

• Summa cum laude = highest honors = cumulative GPA of 3.80
• Magna cum laude = high honors = cumulative GPA of 3.60
• Cum laude = honors = cumulative GPA of 3.40

Students who are granted 45 transfer credit hours or above (not in AUC residency) will follow different regulations for graduation honors:

• Summa cum laude = highest honors = cumulative GPA of 3.90
• Magna cum laude = high honors = cumulative GPA of 3.70
• Cum laude = honors = cumulative GPA of 3.50
