Student Union to Hold Auditions Today for All-AUC Talent Show

Organized by the Student Union, the All-AUC Talent Show, to be held onCommunity Day, aims to unleash the talents of AUC community members, whether students, faculty, staff or alumni. Talents could vary from singing, dancing and playing an instrument to acting and acrobatics, or any activity that showcases unique skills.

The All-AUC Talent Show is expected to last approximately 90 minutes. Auditions will take place today, February 25 from 1:30 to 4:00 pm at Bassily Auditorium. Seven to eight participants will be chosen from the auditions to participate in the show. Judges from different intellectual and artistic backgrounds will be selected to choose the final participants. Chosen participants will each have 10 minutes to perform. Judges will choose two winners, who will receive prizes at the end.
Community Day 2014 aims to bring together alumni, faculty, students, staff and all employees to celebrate AUC and its vibrant community. Highlights of the day include the unveiling of AUC’s new mascot, a talent show, school competitions, musical performances, a University history contest, an AUC Community Give Back and a showcase of artistic products made by students, faculty and staff.
