Askar we Harameyya; View Photos

November 27, 2016

Running from November 16 - 20, Askar we Harameyya (Police and Thieves), a student play performed in Arabic, tells a story based in the offices of a food cooperative, where corruption is prevalent. With the support of many of his co-workers, Faheem, an honest employee, seeks to expose the corruption of some of his colleagues. An inspector is sent to investigate the matter, and the corrupt employees have no other option but to discredit Faheem through exaggerated charges. Trouble ensues between both parties as their tactics don't go according to plan.

Originally written by Alfred Farag, AUC's production was directed by Mahmoud El Lozy, professor of drama.
