Alumna Appointed UN Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza

The first deputy prime minister and first woman to serve as minister of finance in the Netherlands, Sigrid Kaag '85 was recently appointed UN senior humanitarian and reconstruction coordinator for Gaza. A Middle East studies graduate, Kaag was the keynote speaker at AUC's Nadia Younes Memorial Lecture in 2020.
