AUC Press Participates in The 2024 Cairo International Book Fair

The American University in Cairo Press (AUC Press) is participating in the 2024 Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF), which opens today to the public and runs until February 6, 2022, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in New Cairo. 

During the thirteen-day book fair, AUC Press is offering many promotions. All books at the AUC Press booth will come with an up-to-20% discount. Moreover, more than 200 AUC Press titles will come with special prices starting at LE30. For Young readers, the booth will feature a Kids’ corner which will be packed with a diverse selection of books for children of all ages. Furthermore, tables will be set up for coloring activities, providing a creative space where young visitors can bring their artistic visions to life.

AUC Press will also showcase some fifty new books published last year. The latest titles include the first authorized biography for Sir Magdi Yacoub, A Surgeon and a Maverick, written by veteran British journalist Simon Pearson and Fiona Gorman, Palestinian Music in Exile by Louis Brehony, a historical and contemporary study of Palestinian musicianship in exile in the Middle East, The Nubian Pharaohs of Egypt by renowned Egyptologist and bestselling author Aidan Dodson and The House of the Coptic Woman, a novel by Egyptian novelist Ashraf El-Ashmawi and translated by Peter Daniel.

This year, AUC School of Continuing Education (SCE) will be present at the AUC Press stand to meet visitors and answer all of their inquiries about their offered courses and programs.

AUC Press is located at Stand B52, in Hall 2, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
