Learning Outcomes

Students enrolled in the film program will:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of film theory, including the language of cinema and the history of film.
  • Gain practical experience in film production, including pre-production, production and post-production.
  • Develop critical analysis skills and the ability to think critically about the cultural, political and social implications of film.
  • Develop communication, presentation and leadership skills.

Learning Outcomes

Students enrolled in the management of information and communication technology program will:

  • Develop a strong foundation in information technology concepts, principles and practices.
  • Develop the ability to design and implement complex IT systems.
  • Develop skills in business management and leadership, including project management, strategic planning and team management.
  • Develop an understanding of emerging trends in information technology.
  • Develop the ability to analyze and evaluate information technology systems, identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, and effectively communicate complex technical information to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.

Students have opportunities to intern in different areas of filmmaking, film production, film festivals and institutional management. Students also help organize, staff and participate with their films in the Visions Cairo Egyptian Short Film Festival.
