Brief Biography

Since Fall 2021, Isabel Müller is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science at The American University in Cairo. She is working in Pure Mathematics, and her main research focus lays in the framework of Logic, in particular Pure Model Theory and its applications to Permutation Groups. Müller obtained her PhD in 2017 from the University of Münster and gained broad research experience in various European universities through secondments and invited talks. Previous to coming to AUC, she had been a Research Associate at Imperial College London.
