Hanan Shahin

Brief Biography

Hanan Shahin worked at The American University in Cairo (AUC) from 2002-2015 as faculty in the School of Business, as well as in the Rhetoric and Composition department. She also held numerous managerial administrative positions at AUC including director of student services in the School of Business, and director of the Writing Center. In 2015, Shahin left for the United States to obtain another graduate degree, this time a master’s degree in liberal studies from Georgetown University. She also taught at the English and Composition Department at Montgomery College, Maryland. In 2021, Shahin returned to AUC to teach in the Rhetoric and Composition department.
