Named Spaces

The AUC New Cairo campus was one of the largest strategic initiatives undertaken in the University’s history. While the University itself funded a significant portion of the $400 million project, half was funded through generous contributions made by AUC’s alumni and friends. $100 million was donated by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the remaining $100 million was raised from the generosity of private donors whose names appear on the buildings, classrooms, courtyards and facilities made possible by their contributions. Contributions at all levels helped us create a dynamic and enriching environment for students and faculty to advance their academic interests and expertise.
