Iftikhar Ahmad Lodhi joined the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at The American University in Cairo in July 2023. He specializes in teaching policy sciences, public policy analysis and evaluation, international and comparative public policy, international political economy, global governance, energy, environmental, and climate policies. Lodhi’s research focuses on the intersection of global interests and institutions and how they affect national policies and policy making processes. He has published in leading journals like Policy and Society and Studies in Higher Education. Before his current appointment, Lodhi has taught at the Colorado State University (USA), Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan), Higher School of Economics (Russia), Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
