Mr. Richard A. Bartlett

Mr. Richard A. Bartlett is a three-time chair of the AUC Board of Trustees (2010, 2013, 2018) and the first chair emeritus at AUC (2021). He is currently the managing director of Resources Holdings, Ltd., a private equity firm in New York City. Before joining that firm in 1984, he served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun, and before that, as a law clerk on the US Circuit Court for the District of Columbia. Mr. Bartlett received his J.D. from Yale Law School and his BA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Brookings Council of the Brookings Institution. He serves on the board of several private companies, including as chairman of Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation.
