Reporting Channels

Anyone who experiences, observes, or hears about an incident of sexual harassment or sex discrimination should report it to the Office of Institutional Equity.

The American University has the following reporting channels:

  1. Advocate (to report an incident where the respondent is a student).
  2. AUC Ethics HelpLine (to report an incident where the respondent is not a student - Ethics Helpline also allows anonymous reporting). For more information about AUC Ethics Helpline, click here.
  3. Contact Reem El-Mograby, director and Title IX coordinator, Office of Institutional Equity at [email protected] or t+ 20.2.2615.2218. The office is located in the administration building, ground floor, Room G011.
