Empowering Yourself Through Nutritional Literacy

Empower yourself with a deep understanding of nutritional literacy through this multidisciplinary introduction to a healthy, balanced diet. As diet-related illnesses like obesity, Type II diabetes and cardiovascular diseases become global public health challenges, this program addresses the urgent need for awareness and action.

You will explore the factors behind these conditions, including processed food reliance and the shift from home-cooked meals. Through engaging discussions and hands-on activities, you will learn to evaluate food choices, understand nutritional values and distinguish between options that support long-term health versus chronic illness.

By the end of the program, you will possess the practical skills to identify, select and prepare wholesome meals. This experience inspires a lifetime of healthier habits, enabling you to safeguard your well-being and advocate for better dietary practices in your community.
