Interior Design
Do you have a creative eye that is attentive to detail? Do you get inspired by everything around you? Are you passionate about creating artistic and trendy spaces? If so, then this is the course for you!
You will learn everything you need to know about designing residential spaces creatively. This course will take you through the process of interior designing. You will learn how to design a residential space and get introduced to basic drafting skills. You will learn how to create floor plans and elevation designs. You will learn design concepts that help you create a look and feel for the space you are designing. By the end of the course, you will have your own space design, where you will implement all the skills you learned. You will apply the design elements covered in your project by creating a color scheme and matching furniture, material, and accessories to complement the mood you selected for your space.

- One week:
- Age 12 to 16 years: July 1 - 4, 2024 - From 9 am to 4 pm
- Age 16 to 22 years: July 7 - 11, 2024 - From 9 am to 3 pm
- AUC New Cairo campus
- Fridays and Saturdays off

Who can apply?
Students age 12-16 years and 16-22 years.
Certification
All the boot camp participants will receive a certificate of participation from The American University in Cairo (AUC).
Transportation
The AUC bus service is available for extra fees. Details on the schedule will be shared before the program's start date.
Accommodation
Accommodation is offered at the University Residences in case needed.
About the Instructors
Nesma Fadda
Dr. Nesma Fadda is an architect and interior designer with over 15 years of experience. Currently, she leverages her expertise as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at both The American University in Cairo (AUC) and the German International University (GIU), specializing in architecture and interior design. At AUC, she also holds the position of Assistant Coordinator for the Interior Design Professional Diploma program. Demonstrating her commitment to the field; Dr. Fadda has spearheaded the Interior Design Bootcamp since 2022.
AUC Refund Policy
A 100% refund of the program fees will be offered in the following cases. If reported at least three weeks before the program's start date.
