This bootcamp takes an experiential learning approach. You will learn how to conduct informational interviews and search for practical learning opportunities online and through your networks.
At the end of the bootcamp, you will present your personalized career story and an action plan of what you will do next to pursue your identified career. Start your career exploration adventure this summer and gain a clear view of your interests that will help you set up the perfect career plan for you. Choosing a career is a challenge for most high school students. Explore the options that best match your skills and discover the latest job trends.

Duration and Location
- July 19-22, 2026 ( four days)
- Sessions will run daily from 9 am to 4 pm
- AUC New Cairo campus
- Fridays and Saturdays off
- Official holidays are already compensated for with extra hours
Fees
- EGP 4,400 (price including materials needed)

Students aged 15-17 years.
Certification
All the bootcamp participants will receive a certificate of participation from AUC.
Transportation
The AUC bus service is available for an extra fee. Details on the schedule will be shared before the program's start date.
Accommodation
Accommodation is offered at the University Residences in case needed.
About the Instructor
Mary Henry
A cornerstone of the Career Center at The American University in Cairo since 2008, Henry specializes in bridging the gap between academic study and professional practice. With a Master of Arts in counseling and accreditation as a strengths profile practitioner, she is dedicated to helping students discover their natural talents. Henry recently completed her National Career Development Association (NCDA) facilitating career development training and is currently pursuing her Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) certification to further empower the university community through expert career coaching and experiential opportunities.
Sandy Fakhry
Fakhry brings over 14 years of robust human resources and recruitment expertise to The American University in Cairo, including senior roles at Schneider Electric Egypt and leading pharmaceutical firms. Since joining the Career Center in 2019, she has focused on connecting students with top-tier employers across diverse industries. Fakhry is passionate about empowering the next generation of professionals, helping students navigate the job market with confidence and find meaningful career paths.
Refund Policy
A 100 percent refund of the program fees will be granted if the request is submitted at least two weeks before the course start date, or if the request is due to one of the following reasons:
- Course cancellation
- Medical withdrawal
- Visa denial
A 75 percent refund will be granted if the request is submitted within the last two weeks before the course start date.
No refund will be issued if the request is submitted after the end of the last working day (4 pm) and before classes begin, including the weekend prior to the course start date, or after the course has begun.
