Alumni Homecoming 2013
April 12, 2013, 11 am - 6 pm

Welcome to the largest and most-anticipated alumni event of the year: Alumni Homecoming 2013!

Join the event and enjoy alumni bands Like Jelly and Abo Wel Shabab, browse the alumni bazaar, bid on items from AUC at the AUC auction, enjoy the Folklore Group parade, and bring your kids along, there's a special program for them with activities and games running all day.

Need transportation? Catch a bus to Alumni Homecoming at these times and pick-up points:

• Friday Prayer
A Family Transport bus will be available at 11:30 am in front of Gate 4 to transport guests to the nearest mosque for the Friday prayer.

• Transportation to AUC New Cairo
Family Transport buses will be provided at 10:00 am, 11:30 am and 1:30 pm from:
Maadi: Intersection of Laselky and Zahraa streets
Heliopolis: In front of Heliopolis Club
Zamalek: Aboul Feda Street (in front of Nadi El Qoda)
Agouza: In front of Balloon Theater

• Transportation from AUC New Cairo to Pick-up Points
Buses will leave AUC New Cairo from Gate 4 at 3:30 pm, 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm.

Celebrate the fifth reunion of the Class of 2008 with an alumni trip to Fayyoum Oasis, and enjoy a day of sandboarding, trekking through the Valley of the Whales and Rayan Valley and cap it off with a barbecue by the dunes.

Alumni Bazar and Loyal for Life AUCian reception

Moataz Al Alfi Hall, AUC New Cairo

Members of AUC's alumni loyalty program, Loyal for Life AUCian, were welcomed to campus for a special reception in their honor. Following the reception, alumni enjoyed the first Alumni Bazar event, which offered all alumni discounts on products and services from alumni-owned businesses as well as a display of the new AUC class rings for order.

WellSpring Adventure Camp, US
January 24, 2013 - February 3, 2013, Atlanta, Georgia
An adventure camp for ages 16 to 22 including camping, hiking, rock-climbing, high ropes course, zipline, forest expeditions, outdoor laser tag and one day of sightseeing and shopping. WellSpring provided special discounted rates for the children of AUC alumni.

The Dinosaur Play
The Alumni Community Theatre (ACT) presents its annual play for children, The Dinosaur Play, a participation play for kids from December 1 to 22, 2012 at Diwan Heliopolis, Misr Language Schools, Rise and Shine Kinder Care, Designopolis, En Vogue, Fun Yard, Maqam Studio, 1,2,3 Soleil and Samia Allouba. WellSpring Family Camp

Jameel Fellows Interest Chapter event
On Saturday, November 10 from 12 to 4 pm at the Alumni Lounge in the Administration Building at AUC New Cairo, Jameel MBA and PhD fellows gathered for the first meeting of the Jameel Fellows Interest chapter. Nearly 70 Jameel fellowship alumni and graduate students attended along with their family members.
