Nutrition Life Skills

a hand of a baby playing with a playdough

We eat every day, yet few of us truly understand how our food choices impact our health. This course introduces young learners to the fundamental principles of nutrition through an engaging and practical approach. Students will examine the major food groups, learn to interpret nutrition labels, and develop the ability to distinguish between healthier and less healthy options. Through hands-on activities, they will prepare nutritious snacks, plan balanced lunchboxes and find ways to enjoy their favorite foods while maintaining a healthy diet.

By the end of the course, young learners will not only recognize what constitutes a nutritious diet but will also be able to make informed choices that support physical health, cognitive development, and lifelong wellness.
