Membership for full-time AUC students (graduate and undergraduate) is covered by tuition fees.

Alumni are allowed individual membership. Membership payment is handled through the Office of Advancement and Communications. For more information, contact Jala El Gammal, alumni program coordinator at, tel. 2615.2251, room P008, administration building.

Membership fees are LE 600 per semester and LE 1,200 per year (Fees should be paid at the Office of Advancement and Communications).

Full-time and faculty members, senior administration, and managerial and staff A members are allowed to use the sports facilities for free.

Part-time staff members need to subscribe to a membership (individual or family membership) to use the sports facilities.

There are two types of memberships available for AUC community members: family membership and individual membership (includes spouse and children under 18).

For subscription, kindly follow the following steps:

  • Send an email to to receive the payment form
  • Print the form
  • Pay at the cashier's office located in the administration building, ground floor.
  • Submit the payment receipt to the Office Athletics located in the AUC Sports Center, first floor, room 1006 to receive your membership sticker.


Staff B will use the facilities free of charge on Fridays and Saturdays only.

  • Children under 14 years of age must be directly supervised by parents. Children under 16 years of age are not allowed in the weight rooms at any time.
  • Use of the Paul B. Hannon Swimming Pool requires users to pass a swim test. The shallow end of the pool is two meters deep. As such, non-swimmers, floats and rafts are not permitted in the pool.
  • There are no additional court fees for tennis or squash court use, nor charges for the recreational use of any other areas. Individual lessons and other special instructional programs (scuba, schools or camps) may require fees to participate.
  • Sports equipment for many activities is available for checkout, free of charge, at the control desk near the locker rooms.
  • A valid AUC ID card or Sports Center membership card is required. Charges will be incurred for damaged items or ones that are not returned.
