Excellence Award Program

  • The Excellence Award Program is a yearly staff recognition program offering three types of awards.
  • The program is run on a quarterly basis.
  • Nominees are those who have demonstrated outstanding service/performance or who have made a significant contribution to the University beyond the normal expectations of their positions.
  • Area heads will nominate the awardees via the nomination forms.
  • The Office of Human Resources will set the awards for each area on a quarterly basis and will communicate with each area head.

Cash payments with the values of EGP 3000, 5000, 7000, 10,000 or 15,000

Cash payment with the value of a one-month basic salary in EGP.  For unprecedented performance and unique achievement, higher reward value is to be considered and approved by the President

The Office of Human Resources will distribute the award nomination forms to all area heads in due time.

The deadlines for sending back the nomination forms to the Office of Human Resources and the awards announcement for the coming two rounds of FY20 are as per the below dates:

The Office of Human Resources will update the deadlines for the FY21 program after the closing of FY20.

A regular full-time staff, who is active on payroll and has successfully passed the probation period.

A staff member is eligible to up to two awards per year.

A staff member, whose contract was involuntarily terminated for unsatisfactory performance or misconduct.

A staff member who is resigning.
